State budget cuts to the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, funding agent for the Consumer Health Reference Center, have necessitated suspension of the CHRC service as of September 1, 2002. The CHRC librarians have enjoyed building relationships with other libraries while meeting your reference and research needs.
The CHRC web site is no longer updated, but will remain available, as many of the links may still be useful. Additional and up-to-date recommended resources may be found on the MGH Treadwell Library's Consumer Health Page.
For further assistance, you may wish to contact your regional reference center or the Boston Public Library, Science Reference Department at 617-536-5400.
